MCWC Spring Update

MINISTRY: Mid Cities Women’s Clinic | Bedford & Haslet, TX

MINISTRY PURPOSE: Support women & their families along their pregnancy journey to choose life and have a healthy launch into parenthood.

KNOW:
MCWC are hoping to start offering first trimester care to expecting mothers who may not yet have insurance or have not been assigned Medicaid. The next session of Parenting Classes for expecting mothers and fathers start on April 2nd.

PRAY:

• Pray that North TCC campus will find favor with the mobile unit and that MCWC will be able to expand to all four TCC campuses.

• Pray that with the hire of the nurse practitioner, it paves the way for opportunity of more prenatal care for women.

• Pray that the Man to Man program will continue to grow so that the men in the women’s lives will also know Jesus and support the women in keeping the pregnancy and be a presence in the child’s life.

GIVE:
Diapers and wipes have been very low at the Euless clinic recently. Various sizes of new unopened diapers (preemie, newborn, size 1-3) and unscented wipes would be greatly appreciated.

GO:
Both Euless and Haslet clinics are in need of men to volunteer for the Men 2 Men roles. Expecting fathers also need guidance in their new role and research has shown that the mother is more likely to keep the pregnancy if the father is supportive.
