WE LOVE
KIDS AT WELLSPRING

The Scriptures teach that “from the mouths of babes, you have ordained praise” (Ps. 8:2), and that “your sons and your daughters shall prophesy” (Acts 2:17).

Children have too much potential for us to merely babysit them. We teach them to grow in their friendship with God, just like we teach the adults. But we do so in a way that connects with their specific age group, employing drama, puppets, crafts, music, and much more.

Most of our Children’s Ministry happens on Sunday mornings during Kids Bible Fellowship Groups (9 am) and Kids Church (10:30 am). We also offer a leadership development program called “River Guides” for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

Kids Check-In

Check-in begins 15 minutes before our Worship Experience, and it’s for every age, from infant to 6th grade (7th grade and older join us in the Worship Center). Our process for check-in is quick, safe, and easy. There are check-in stations in our well-labeled Kids’ Check-in area, a few doors down from the Worship Center. All of our Kids Ministry Volunteers wear Wellspring aprons so that you can easily identify them and ask for help. Every Kids Ministry Volunteer is required to have a background check and be known by our church community to ensure that your kiddos are in good hands.

What To Expect

If your children are infant – 5 years, they will be in Kids Church for the duration of the service. If your children are in 6-12 years, they will join the adults for worship. Why? Because we find that the best way for children to learn how to worship is by watching their parents.

After worship, our 6-12-year-olds will be dismissed and escorted to Kids Church by our Kids Ministry Volunteers in Wellspring aprons, where they will learn how to grow in their friendship with God through the truth of His Word and the power of His Holy Spirit. You will need your parent security pick-up tag (which will match the number on your children’s name tags) to pick up your children in their Kids Church classrooms.

In addition to Kids Church, we also have a Nursing Mother’s Room for moms who need a quiet space to feed & care for their little ones. Our Nursing Mother’s Room features comfortable seating, soft lighting, a changing station, and a video feed of the service, so you don’t need to miss anything happening during our Worship Experience.
