Latin America 2025 EOY Update

MINISTRY: MiCaf Churches & DMM Movement | Latin American Country

MINISTRY PURPOSE: to make disciples through Gospel advancing small groups + minister to their people through various felt need ministries.

KNOW:
In Q4, the founder and long-time leader of the movement in Latin America moved out of country with his family. This was a move that they planned for over a year. Prepping leaders, teams, and ministry plans. It was a bittersweet time for all as the Latin American Leader…we’ll call him ‘N’ built and led the ministry for over 10 yrs!

Information from “D”, the new mission leader in Latin America Mission.

“I am well, thank God, my health is good. My wife, Yannelis, and my daughter, Victoria, are also doing very well. I am very grateful for all their support in the transition of leadership from“N” to myself.”

PRAY:
These requests for prayer have been asked by the new mission leader, “D”.

  1. Please pray that our Lord will give me health, strength, and wisdom in this new leadership responsibility. I also ask your prayers for my family, that my wife and daughter remain healthy and that our family remains close.

  2. We ask for your prayers that God will continue to favor our ministry, that new leaders will emerge, and that more souls will be saved.

  3. We ask for your prayers that God will help us achieve all our goals this year.

  4. For our church in Latin America, please pray for health and growth of our church.

GIVE:
Over the past 3 months we have been in process of the transition between Pastor “N” to myself, Pastor “D”. During this transition we have still been able to:

  1. Make 8 aid visits to communities affected by the Hurricane Melissa.

  2. We carried out several distributions of Bibles.

  3. We held an evangelistic event in a town in Granma with more than 500 people.

  4. We continue to feed more than 500 children in our area.

  5. We continue development of our farm, camp, and all our facilities.

In hopes of continued support, our plans are to:

  1. Host a baptism for 1,000 people in the first week of March.

  2. Conduct a Bible event, in March, for 15,000 people.

  3. Conduct Three training sessions planned with different ministries and the Discipleship Movement.

  4. In addition to the last list of projects that need funding, we hope the Lord will provide funds for the installation of three solar power systems to address the electricity shortage in Cuba.
