CEC 2025 EOY Update

MINISTRY: Community Enrichment Center | North Richland Hills, TX

MINISTRY PURPOSE: Helping people up and out of the grip of poverty.

TESTIMONY:
I just wanted to follow up and share how grateful we are for the opportunity to be part of Wellspring’s Mission Week.

Your team was incredibly gracious, generous and welcoming—we truly enjoyed spending time with everyone and sharing about the work we get to do.

Thank you also for Wellspring’s continued support—through your giving, your volunteers, and your presence at our events. We’re so honored to be partnered with you for the Kingdom, and we’re excited to keep building on that relationship as we serve our communities better and better for the glory of God.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s ever anything we can do for you. We’re in your corner, praying blessings over your ministry, and eager to support you in any way we can.

Blessings, Jeremy Rock Volunteer Manager

KNOW:
The CEC Christmas Extravaganza on December 20 was an incredible outreach to children and their families. Toys were gathered all over fire stations and city centers around NRH for over 1,000 younger children and gift cards were purchased to give to the teen aged youngsters.

PRAY:
CEC is very appreciative of our prayers for their continued outreach to the needy families around our church.

Wellspring’s partnership, your prayers, and the heart you bring to serving our community mean more than you know.

One of the things I appreciate most is the way you allow us to come alongside you and your congregation. You invite us in, you make space for us, and together we’ve been able to love and support families in a way none of us could do alone.

It’s been an honor to stand with you this year. Because of your faithfulness, families in our community have experienced hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ in real, tangible ways. Thank you for the way you show up—not just for us, but for your neighbors.

GIVE:
CEC is always in need of more financial help to provide food for needy families from the food bank. The Center gives out hundreds of pounds of food hourly during every day of every week. Due to government budget cutbacks, financial support is more critical than ever.

The Roman's Class on Sunday mornings, and our Tuesday night bible study provided close to $300 to give to CEC to purchase some gift cards for the teen agers for the Christmas Extravaganza. Many thankful appreciations for these gifts!

$50 provides one month of groceries for a family

$100 provides 3 months of diapers for a family with a 2 yr-old a newborn

GO:
About 2 months ago CEC opened the food bank on the second and fourth Saturday mornings for volunteers to help stock shelves and clean up. This is a very helpful time to volunteer for those who work or are in school during the weekday times.

If you want to volunteer with the CEC shoot Pastor David an email - david@wellspringdfw.org
