June Latin America Update

We were able to send a check this month to Latin America [LA] filled with funds gathered through Wellspring Member donations - YOU . These are funds that have been donated throughout the year [in the future, we will deliver these 1x per quarter].

Here is what you need to KNOW | PRAY | GIVE | GO for this month:

KNOW

Information from our leader in Latin America, the mission leader in Latin America Missions.
For the sake of an abundance of caution, we will call him Norman [not his actual name].

Over all Norman’s family is doing well. However, Norman continues to have stomach issues but it has been improving little by little. In addition, Norman has been overwhelmingly busy, but is happy to be doing God's mission.

Norman is thanking God that they are now working on the kitchen at the Bible Center and were able to build a structure for and install a water tank.

Norman and a team recently traveled to Manzanillo, for a wonderful Bible distribution for hundreds of Disciples. Another trip was taken on June 17th to Manzanillo, to train more than 100 pastors with new strategies for making disciples.

Norman expressed his thanks and gratitude for the donations that have come from the members of Wellspring.  Those donations have enabled many efforts in touching, reaching, and accomplishing very important needs of the people and ministry.  Norman will soon receive $2,240.  Thank you Wellspringers, for your giving and please know that there are still many financial needs for ongoing projects to accomplish the delivering of the gospel to the unsaved and needs of the people in our Latin American family.

Every month more than 4,000 meals are served to vulnerable children in Las Tunas.

There are continuous multiple events where Bibles are distributed to new disciples!

There is continuous planting and harvesting at their farm!! 

A new project, to help with water, has been started for Disciple Making Movement Leaders. There are many problems with water in Latin America. Many leaders in this ministry have to carry water from long distances to their homes. The goal is to help these leaders dig wells or furnish cisterns to bring water to their homes. The Ministry is praying for this project. Norman believes God placed it on his heart.

For the mission in Latin America, they will soon receive $2,240 that has been donated by Wellspringers for the ministry there.  Thank you for your giving and please know that there are still many financial needs for ongoing projects to accomplish the delivering of the gospel to the unsaved, and needs of the people in our Latin American Christian family.

PRAY

• These requests for prayer have been asked by Norman.

  1. Please pray for this Latin American ministry.

  2. Please pray that God will perform a miracle for Latin Americans; that we have electricity, food, and medicine for our sick.

  3. Continued development for the farm and livestock.

  4. Help with training expenses.

  5. The ongoing development of the Bible Center.

  6. Pray for God's favor for the mission workers and the Church’s members’ lives and families.

  7. Pray for provision and more Bibles for Latin Americans.  God is using His word to change lives.

  8. Pray for our team; for health, power, protection, and that we continue to press on, in missions with Jesus.

  1.  Pray for my healing of these stomach issues, mental health, and spiritual strength, so that I can continue to carry out the Work of God freely.

  2.  Pray God's health and protection for me and my family:  

  3.  Pray for my son Caleb; that God gives him wisdom as he is organizing a youth camp.

  4.  Pray for my daughter, Maday, who is entering her final exams at school.

  5.  Pray for my wife, Katia and myself, for God’s wisdom, health, and peace.

GIVE

• Funds are currently needed in many areas.  Below is a few of the areas they hope to be able to address as soon as possible.

  1. Continuation of development for the farm.

  2. On going purchase for bibles.

  3. Training expenses.

  4. Ongoing renovation of the Bible Center.  The renovation is primarily for bathrooms.

We have a Wellspring trip to Latin America in August!

• This year’s group going to Latin America in August have already been chosen and they are continuing to raise funds for their expenses. 
  
  The cost for each of us on the team will be around $2,200. 
  
  Please consider participating in this year’s mission trip by partnering with this team, both prayerfully and financially. There are still several people in our group that need financial help to be able to go. 
  
  Donations can be given through Venmo to Wellspring’s account - @wellspringdfw or with a check. There is not an amount that is too small, and remember that by donating, you will be a very important part of this team in its mission trip to Latin America.
