WELLSPRING WAS HONORED AS THE CEC’S PARTNER OF HOPE - CHURCH PARTNER OF THE YEAR! WAY TO GO CHURCH - MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY!

TESTIMONY

Food Pantry: More Than Just a Meal

A woman visited our food pantry last month, overwhelmed by financial strain. With rent at $1,200 and an income of only $1,400, she had been relying on her daughter for support and was considering dropping her car insurance just to make ends meet. Recognizing the importance of maintaining financial security, one of our team members sat down with her to explore alternative solutions.

Together, they identified resources such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, and food stamps that could provide relief.

With guidance from CEC, she is now working with the Tarrant Area Food Bank to apply for benefits—ensuring she can maintain stability without making drastic sacrifices.

Praise God!
