MINISTRY PURPOSE: Helping people up and out of the grip of poverty.

Here's what your generosity and time made possible just this last month:
Overall Community Impact
3,742 families served through our food pantry
325,777 pounds of food distributed
315 new families served
912 volunteers served, including 240 new volunteer applicants 5,207 volunteer hours recorded, valued at $174,388.46

KNOW:
Refresh BISD - Back-to-School Impact

As part of our Refresh outreach in partnership with Birdville ISD:

2,333 students served, 661 remaining supply kits are now at Clothes Connection and will be distributed across Birdville ISD in the coming weeks-ensuring we fulfill our shared goal of serving 3,000 students

Over 50,000 pounds of food distributed

$350,850 in total community support mobilized

456 volunteers gave 1,722 hours of service-with joy, humility, and care

PRAY:
Much of the federal funding for the food banks and outreach programs at CEC. Please pray for increased financial giving opportunities and increased volunteer times at the food bank and thrift store.

$50 provides one month of groceries for a family

$100 provides 3 months of diapers for a family with a 2 yr-old a newborn

If Saturdays work best for you the CEC has opened up opportunities to serve Pantry Restock on 2nd and 4th Saturdays.
