CEC Spring Update
MINISTRY: Community Enrichment Center | North Richland Hills, TX
MINISTRY PURPOSE: Helping people up and out of the grip of poverty.
TESTIMONY:
We are proud to share that the CEC has been nominated for the 50th Golden Awards by the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce!
This recognition is a testament to our dedicated team and the incredible community we serve. At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to restore hope to those in crisis through food assistance, affordable housing and financial counseling.
To be recognized by the Chamber and our peers in the local community is a significant honor that motivates us to keep pushing our mission forward.
A sincere thank you to the Colleyville Chamber for the nomination, and an even bigger thank you to our community partners, volunteers, and supporters. Your trust and collaboration are what make our work possible!
KNOW:
CEC Golf Classic was a big hit! It occured on Friday, April 10.
We want to extend a massive thank you to our incredible sponsors, whose generosity makes this entire event possible. Your support does so much more than fund a tournament; it directly fuels the CEC’s mission to restore hope to those in crisis within our community.
Every swing and every conversation helps provide a path forward for our neighbors in need, and we are so grateful to have such a dedicated group of partners walking - AND GOLFING - alongside us.
PRAY:
CEC will be reaching out to counselors in BISD to determine how many families may need transportation assistance to attend REFRESH BISD.
Once we gather that information, we’ll report back so we can discuss how we can best stand in the gap to ensure that everyone who registers and wants to attend is able to be there.
REFRESH BISD is happening on July 25th.
Be sure to visit refreshbisd.org to learn more.
CEC will be in touch soon with specific opportunities for involvement.
CEC is so grateful for this community and for the opportunity we have to serve together.
Thank you for trusting us, partnering with us, and gathering faithfully each month.
GIVE:
One thing that Wellspringers can easily do is to eat at the Pei Wei listed in the image below during the specified time to encourage the restaurant to continue to provide a portion of sales to CEC in monetary forms to offset expenses of providing much needed school supplies to needy students!
GO:
Join the Refresh movement to empower students and families.
Ever wonder what happens when multiple cities decide to go all-in for its kids?
This July, REFRESH BISD is bringing together everyone - from local business owners and churches to city officials - with one big goal:
Supporting 3,500 students as they head back to school.
We’d love for you to be part of the movement!
