What We Believe

  • The Kingdom of Heaven faces pushback from people and people of the Kingdom face the same pushback.

    • The Kingdom suffered persecution and those who will enter the Kingdom will have to push past the persecutors. (Matt. 11:12)

    • Matt 11:13-14 – John the Baptist is the last of the Old Testament prophets and is spiritually the Elijah prophesied in Malachi.

    • Matt. 11:15 – If you have ears to hear, hear. Spiritual people receiving spiritual truth.

    • Matt. 11:16 – This generation (those alive in Israel at the time) was determined to reject the Gospel. John and Jesus had very different styles, but John was too ascetic and Jesus too not ascetic. They exaggerated both as an excuse to reject.

    • Matt 11:19 – Wisdom is justified by her deeds.

  • Christ proved He was the Messiah and only the wise/spiritual could accept it.

    • Some people are committed to resist God. Sometimes they dress up their resistance with intellectual arguments, but the hallmark is their refusal to fairly evaluate evidence to the contrary.

  • There is a new generation now and we don’t know who is dedicated to not believe and who just needs to hear the Gospel. SO we speak to everyone and let those who have ears, hear!

How to Obey

  • Be ready to share the Gospel with everyone, recognizing that the results are completely dependent on the spiritual intervention of God!

How to Walk Intimately with God

  • If you find yourself plagued by doubts, examine whether you are committed to doubting. If so, confess it and ask for forgiveness. If not, pray with someone you trust to examine if you are under demonic oppression or something else is hindering you. You are welcome to email office@wellspringdfw.org for help with this.

  • If you feel like your Christian life is full of striving, first examine whether you are in sin. If so, confess and repent and be forgiven. If you still feel that God is unhappy with you, email us for prayer. office@wellspingdfw.org.
