CEC Summer Update

MINISTRY: Community Enrichment Center | North Richland Hills, TX

MINISTRY PURPOSE: Helping people up and out of the grip of poverty.

TESTIMONY:
Thank you all so much for everything you do. I am so grateful for each of you and the ways you help support the fundraising, planning, and execution of REFRESH. This event does not happen without y'all. Thank you so much!

KNOW:
We had a powerful and encouraging time together during the Partners in Faith luncheon on Tuesday, June 18 as we heard a devotional from Pastor Ariel and AC shared about Flourish Fund and the new Fort Worth CAB (Church Advisory Board) launching to help meet the needs of orphans and at-risk kids in our community.

Thank you for making this month's gathering special. I am so grateful for you, and I look forward to seeing you all next month.

PRAY:
Pray that CEC gets the volunteers to help set up in the food pantry. I'm sure the people who show up to claim their shopping carts full of food have no idea what is required of the volunteers to make sure the grocery carts are ready for them.

GIVE:
REFRESH event to provide backpacks, sports physicals, eye exams and free bibles to 3500 BISD needy children is $68,643 towards the $95,000 needed to provide all of these things for the children. So, giving money towards the project are desperately needed.

GO:
Consider signing up for a Saturday to volunteer at the Food Pantry.

The pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
