It’s not uncommon for Christian men to say, “my wife is my best friend.” Unfortunately for many men, their wife is their only friend. Our men’s ministry is designed with the purpose of fostering deep friendships with one another, for both mutual enjoyment and sharpening one another in our friendship with Jesus. We offer connect groups, most of which meet on Monday nights, and we gather frequently for large group meetings and (shooting) retreats.

A few of our prayer focuses for our Connect groups are:

• That we would be real, not religious (1 John 1:7).
• That we would love our neighbors, rather than judging them (Luke 10:25-37).
• That we would be effective in helping people overcome addictions (Gal. 6:1-2).
• That everybody would have a best friend who loves Jesus (Prov. 18:24).
• That everybody knows their spiritual gift and is using it (1 Pet. 4:10).
