Our Vision

  1. We dream of a church that enjoys a vibrant friendship with Jesus (John 15:15).
  2. We dream of a church that finds joy in the house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7).
  3. We dream of a biblically literate church that “correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15), rather than relying on traditions and theological biases.
  4. We dream of a church that is comfortable with the mystery of God, yet at the same time, seeks to know Him more fully (Rom. 11:33-36; 1 Cor. 2:9-10).
  5. We dream of a church that places more of an emphasis on love than knowledge (1 Cor. 8:1), yet doesn’t neglect the latter.
  6. We dream of a church that knows the Word of God, not like the Pharisees, but as a people who live off of every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matt. 4:4; John 8:37).
  7. We dream of a church that is real, not religious (1 John 1:7).
  8. We dream of a church that loves her neighbors, rather than judging them (Luke 10:25-37).

  13. We dream of a church with healthy, reproducing small groups (Acts 2:46-47).
  14. We dream of a church full of ministry leaders and small group leaders engaged in pastoring those under their watch (Ezek. 34:1-6; Heb. 13:17).
  15. We dream of a church that is governed biblically, not politically (1 Tim. 5:17-20).
  16. We dream of a church that follows Jesus’ method for keeping peace and addressing conflict (Matt. 18:15-17).
  17. We dream of a church that relates closely with other churches, receiving and offering edification (Acts 11:19-30).
  18. We dream of a church that believes God for the impossible, not the inevitable (Mark 9:14-29).
  19. We dream of a church that is afraid of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, and yet for the same reason, is also drawn to Him (Acts 5:11, 14).
  20. We dream of a church that is as unpredictable as the Holy Spirit (Acts 2).
  21. 21) We dream of a church that regularly experiences miraculous healings and demonic deliverance (Acts 5:15-16).
  22. We dream of a church where secrets of hearts are revealed, plans unveiled, and futures foretold, through the power of prophetic ministry (1 Cor. 14:25; Acts 16:6-10; 21:20-11).
  23. We dream of a church where everybody knows their spiritual gift and is using it (1 Pet. 4:10).
  24. We dream of a church that experiences daily salvations through congregation members (Acts 2:46-47).
  25. We dream of a mission-oriented church: promoting missions awareness, taking people on short-term missions, regularly raising up long-term missionaries, and planting like-minded churches in every part of the globe, whether dangerous or docile (Acts 1:8; 13:1-3).
  26. We dream of a church where every Christian is regularly sharing Christ with those who don’t know Him (2 Cor. 5:20).
  27. We dream of a church that makes a local and global impact through engagement in social justice initiatives: caring for widows, orphans, battered women, the poor, the imprisoned, the alien, the disenfranchised, the unborn (Matt. 25:34-40; James 1:27).
  28. We dream of a church capable of responding immediately with relief to any catastrophe that takes place in the world (Acts 11:27-30).
  29. We dream of a church that is financially generous in tithing, in giving to missions, and in giving to the poor (2 Cor. 9:6-8).
  30. We dream of a church that offers a vast array of online teaching resources that people from all over the world can use for their benefit, and for the benefit of their churches (Col. 4:16; 1 Thess. 5:27).
  31. We dream of a church whose primary training mechanism is discipleship, not impersonal classes (1 Tim. 2:2; Titus 2:3-5).
